Sunday Sessions
So what is involved?
The Sunday Sessions are a combination of fitness, padwork, grappling, body conditioning, impact training, and sparring (for those who are interested). We aim to foster an attitude of fun, friendliness but with a serious determination for each individual to try to better themselves through a good hard but enjoyable workout. Each person knows their own limits so we try to encourage people to push beyond that.
Who can get involved?
Initially, it was just for students within Mushin Karate but family members and friends have requested the chance to train so it pretty much means anyone over the age of 14 and upwards. Everyone is welcome.
A typical session.
Each session will start with a warm-up of jogging and skipping, we then move into some fitness work, circuit training, padwork, grappling, some set drills to work on, sparring (if interested) and finally finish off with some stomach work using the medicine ball. If this sounds like FUN on a Sunday morning why not come and give it a try.
When?
Every Sunday in Sally Gardens Community Centre from 11 – 12.30.
What to do next?
