This is a poem I wrote in honour of my mum and its called:

"Heroes and Angels"

Mum, whenever I look up at the dark sky at night

I know thats you, the star that shines down so bright

The ray of light that beams down for us to see

To look over us - Pops, Conor, Lisa and me

You were my friend, my councillor, my rock, and my mum

But now you are all of this but smiling down from above

Heaven will certainly be a cleaner place with your dust-pan and marigold glove

Our Guardian Angel, My Angel.

In times of trouble, in times of strife

You were there - the sister, auntie, granny, mother,and loving wife

Life is going to be so much harder of that I am sure

But you have left a strong family unit to cope and endure

Without your guidance, advice and help

I would not be the person I am today

For that I am eternally thankful, I don't know what else to say

Rest In Peace Mum

We love you, I love you

My Hero.

Passed on but never will you be forgotten.
